Torrance, Calif. (May 10, 2018) – Phenomenex Inc., a global leader in the research and manufacture of advanced technologies for the separation sciences, introduces Zebron™ ZB-624PLUS™ GC columns for volatile organic compound analysis. Incorporating a higher level of inertness than previous offerings, the columns are stable up to 300/320 ˚C and their superior deactivation process enhances peak shape and signal-to-noise ratios with increased sensitivity. ZB-624PLUS columns are compliant with EPA Method 8260 and exceed system suitability requirements for USP Method 467. The low bleed mass spec certification makes this column fully compatible with quantification using GC-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS).
Ideal applications for the new ZB-624PLUS columns include the analysis of solvents and other volatiles in water, pharmaceutical, food, cannabis and specialty chemical samples.
"Our Zebron GC product line, which includes many application-specific offerings, has a recognized reputation for quality," said Rola El abaji, GC product marketing manager for Phenomenex. "We are pleased to announce this next generation of inertness, which provides valuable advantages to analysts testing for volatile compounds."
Every Zebron column undergoes rigorous quality-control testing, often using application-specific samples, and they are backed by a performance guarantee.
